MOLCAL™ ALG, is an organic compound widely recognized as Calcium Alginate, a calcium salt of alginic acid. It is approved as a food additive (E404) and is used as a gelling agent, thickener, stabilizer, emulsifier and a source of edible dietary fiber.

Application: MOLCAL™ ALG is used in sauces, dairy products, jams, puddings, salad dressings and syrups to stabilize emulsions, minimize phase separation and inhibit sugar or ice crystallization by enhancing viscosity and water binding. It can be used to form edible films or coatings, acting as moisture barriers or carrier matrices on fresh produce, meats or seafood, helping extend shelf life and reduce oxidation.

We follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to international regulatory standards to ensure quality consistency with continuous supply.
