MOLCAL™ LACT is a white crystalline powder with the chemical formula C24H42CaO24.2H2O commonly known as Calcium Lactobionate. It is used in intravenous (IV) solutions to treat or prevent calcium deficiencies, particularly in cases where oral supplementation is inadequate or not feasible.

Application: MOLCAL™ LACT is used to provide calcium supplementation via intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) administration. It contains calcium in a form suitable for rapid absorption and replenishment. Additionally, Calcium Gluconate and Calcium Lactobionate are often combined in injectable formulations (e.g., Gluci Injection) to offer a synergistic approach to calcium supplementation and support for bone health.
